About the project

The church sits on approximately 5.200 sq.m. of land. It consists of over 700 seating capacity church auditorium, a 3 storey support building (housing a partitionable multi-purpose hall, chapel, clinic, office, library, Sunday classes, apartments and so on), extensive parking and a lush garden/recreational area for ceremonial outdoor events and occasions.

The main hall is situated within a modern staggered A-frame form that achieves a skylight filtering a kaleidoscopic natural light effect internally.

Large curtain wall panels on the side punctuate the A-frame allowing more light into the interior spaces which subdues its huge mass whilst creating continuous features to compliment the overall form of the building.

The concept is to retain the ecclesiastical architectural language and tend towards a more contemporary ecclesiastical style which will provide the functional aspects of a traditional church design.
